REFLECTION
During 14 weeks, I learned design principles such as balance, repetition, emphasis and etc. Moreover, I have learned where and how to apply each design principle to artworks to bring the best result out of them.
I enjoyed all of the given tasks, however; the task I enjoyed the most was creating an illustration expressing a sense of a place. This task was very interesting in terms of implying the atmospheres and feelings of a place, not only realistically visualizing the look of a place.
Through this module, I observed that I'm interested in abstractly describing invisible elements such as emotions, atmospheres and messages rather than concretely.
As researching was one of the required progress in this module, I've become to have a fundamental and essential working habit: doing a sufficient amount of research before creating an artwork. Working on the given assignments for 14 weeks taught me how to manage my time to work sufficiently.
